*semi-graphic story*
I am home now, still hurting pretty bad so I will summarize this as much as I can. On Wednesday June 30th, I started having very regular braxton hicks contrax but I ignored them since they didn't hurt at all. The next day I drove to Denver to pick up my kids from the airport and was consistently having them every 10 minutes for like 5 hours. Then they started hurting. When we got stuck in traffic I started to panic a little. It took us over 3 hours to get home, but I was so excited to have my kids back that I pushed the pains I was having to the back of my mind, after all, they weren't like REAL labor pains. Ha. I called my doctors after hours # and they told me to get my butt to the hospital, which I almost didn't do because I thought they would just tell me they were braxton hicks and to drink more water or something, but since I had already called I went in. Good thing I did. I was in the labor and delivery area for about 5 minutes before they checked me, and I was only dilated to a two, but when you're not supposed to be in labor in the first place, the nurses seemed a little worried, but at this point chunk was stil at work 30 mins away because we weren't really sure if baby was coming yet or not. Well nature decided to choose for me about 5 minutes later when my water literally EXPLODED. Water does not just break, it seriously shoots out everywhere. Then my contractions immediately picked up to a very intense level and I was being prepped for surgery. I called Chunks boss and he was speeding down the highway as I was being put into a wheelchair to go to the operating room. The doctor was cool and decided we could wait a couple minutes for him, and he walked through the door just as I was about to get my spinal!!! When the docxtor opened me up, he got very serious and told us to think VERY hard for the next 2 minutes whether we wanted to have nore kids or not, because my uterus had started rupturing. If i would have waited any longer in labor, there is a really good chance me and Taylor would have died. The doctor said if it would have totally ruptured I could have bled to death in less than 3 minutes. Luckily, the old c-section scar had just barely started coming apart, so they were able to repair it, but he REALLY wanted to tie my tubes right then and there, and stressed the dangers of me getting pregnant again. I was in total shock with him telling me this as I am lying on an operating table, and the doctor decided tying my tubes in a state of duress was a bad idea, and that they would repair the rupture and let me think about it, but I HAVE to get on good birth control in the meantime. So we definitely have lots to fast and pray about. From the minute I walked into the hospital to get checked, from the time Taylor was actually born, it was less than an hour. It was a whirlwind and I still can't believe it happened. After surgery I had some bleeding complications, and my blood pressure dropped dangerously low a few times, and I had to have shots of some kind of clotting medication as well as an IV of pitocin for almost 48 hours to get my uterus to clamp down and control the bleeding. I feel like poo to be honest, it hurts to sit, it hurts to lay, it hurts to stand, walk, kneel, I just hurt. If any of you know about my panic attacks and the reasons why I don't take narcotic drugs, you will be shocked to know that last night I caved in and took half of a vicoden. I have a prescription for percocets but I am still too scared to take them, so I am putting along on 800 mg motrins. I will try to update more often!

I just wanted to update, I am 33 weeks along now, and my c-section is scheduled for July 5th, at 7:30 am! I am getting nervous now!!!
I have been feeling well, other than the inevitable fatigue.
The kids are great, the husband is great, we're all pretty good, so I have been lazy about updating, no news is good news, right?

I know this thing has a weird transparent background, but I am going to try to post a couple pictures anyway.

I am now 23 weeks pregnant and everything seems to be going as planned. We will be taking a mini vacation to Utah in April, so that I can attend the BYU Women's Conference. We are SO excited, we can't wait. Charles and I honeymooned in Utah and had a great time there. I just wanted to update this very briefly. Hollie is having ehr 4th birthday this Wednesday and she is very excited. Charley has been pottytraining and is getting better little by little. Life is going pretty smooth here in Colorado. We love our apartment. Not much else to say right now...i will update again soon!

Well if any of you can see this..here ya go. Everytime I try to get on my blog it tells me "page cannot be displayed". *rolls eyes*I am 19 weeks pregnant today. One more week and I am officially halfway done. I've got a half-cooked baby in mah belly! w00t! I have another doctors appointment on Thursday. I am going to put the smack down on the doctor and if he doesn't do what I want him to do then I am changing to my sisters doctor. Thursday is the day.

Kids are pretty good. Charley is really maturing a lot, he is talking up a storm. He is using lots and lots of sentences now and it's really cute. He is also slimming down a lot and looking like a little boy instead of a baby. He likes to put stuff in his pockets. There are always at least 2 toys in each pocket. Today chunk emptied them and found 5 pennies. Where he got them I will never know.

Hollie is the same old silly Hollie. She is in sunbeams at church now and loving it. She comes home and tells me all sorts of neat things she's learned. The other day she was singing a song and I couldn't quite make it out so I asked her to tell me the words. She told me she is the Army of Helaman! It was so cute. Today at church the primary kids got up and sang a hymn up front. Hollie was too scared to go up there, we tried to convince her it was ok, that all her friends were up there, but she wouldn't budge. I felt bad, I was a shy kid and I remember being too scared to do stuff and then later wishing I had done it.
Baby is nice and big and kicking me all the time. This baby is into kung-fu.
Chuck is cool too....he's working the evening shift at T-mobile and not getting home till midnight every night, but we're adjusting to the schedule. He has weekends off which is really nice.Life in Colorado is peachy for now. I will update again soon!

Long time no update-AGAIN! I am terrible at doing this anymore. It used to be my favorite pasttime. Good news, had an ultrasound and discovered we're having a boy! We are very excited. I am staying home now with the children for the time being. We'll see how it goes with the financial situation but I am guessing things will be just fine. Everyone is doing well and just getting super excited for Baby Scoville to make his grand appearance in July. It feels like forever, but I know when July comes I will say how the time flew by haha. I just have a quick minute during naptime to update a little, will write again soon!

WOW, long time no update. Since my last post we have moved to Colorado, and landed really cool jobs at T-Mobile, which we start on Tuesday:)
We also got the wonderful enws that we are expecting! My due date is July 10th. Ick, a hot Colorado summer spent pregnant, but it's definitely worth it.

I went to my first OB visit last week. It was very uneventful. Until the end of the visit that is. As we were leaving, we were going over some insurance info, and found out that the plan we were going to keep on COBRA really stinks. So we had to pay out of pocket for the first visit, and it was over $100, ouch. THEN as we are setting up my next appointment in 4 weeks, the receptionist asks me what time of day would work best for us, and since I will be in training at T-Mobile during that time, until 3:30 in the afternoon, I asked for the latest in the day. The latest she could offer was 3:15, which is NOT do-able for us at all, since while in training there is an extremely strict attendance policy. So basically 2 seconds after we fork over a hundred bucks, we find out this doctor will never be able to see us due to his working schedule. I was really ticked, because if we found another doctor who was open later, we'd still have to pay for the first visit THERE all over again! I really like my doctor and I didn't want to have to get a new one just because of a time conflict. So my husband asks the girl if she can just ask the doctor to see us a half an hour later just this once, and after we're done with training we can work out our schedules with T-Mobile better. She didn't seem willing to help us at all, but she went and got his nurse. She basically just told me not to worry, and to skip a month, and come in after the 7 week training is over. So they set up another appointment for me then. I will be 15-16 weeks pregnant by then, and I am skeptical about waiting that long, especially since I had massive complications with my first baby, but what can we do? Nada. So I won't be going to the doctor again until mid-january.

I still love it here, I am so glad we came to Colorado instead of rotting in Decatur. We've gotten some pretty snow since we've been here, but nothing too terrible.I don't really have much else to say. I feel fine still, a little fat but no sickness or anything yet. I have no energy but thats to be expected when you're pregnant and you have 2 toddlers to chase after. I will update again in a few days. :)
